What do you do with 30kgs of Mikan
When you live in the Japanese countryside something that will often happen is a neighbour or a friend will give you a load of something, be it carrots, radishes, watermelons or in this case mikan ( mandarins). last month we were lucky enough to receive 30kg of mikan at our door from some extended family.
So for more than a month we had fresh Mikan juice every morning and another one or two during the day. Didn’t turn yellow, but I think we got our fair share of vitamin C.
